Front Desk Receptionist/Medical Assistant

Anthony Medical Care is a busy rural practice in place for 22 years with a second close proximity location in Pierson.
We need a strong front desk applicant with experience working in the medical field with extreme attention to detail or a person with a background in medical assisting.
Can train the other elements if employee has background in one area or the other.
Looking for someone with skills/knowledge of items below:
Background in phlebotomy and medical assisting OR FRONT DESK
Experience:
Ability to collect co-pays, balances, and enforce policies firmly and professionally.
Experience with EMR & fast typing skills are a must.
Excellent PC skills are a must.
Strong typing skills are a must.
Adequately and professionally interact and effectively communicate with patients for appointments, lab/x-ray results, and other patient needs.
Ability to use Excel for general spreadsheet tracking is necessary.
Must have attention to detail, ability to multi-task, take direction but also initiative to complete needed assignments on their own.
Extensive attention to detail to processes and tasks, recording messages, and fulfilling requests.
Knowledge of prior authorizations is a plus.
Use of Availity, general healthcare & insurance jargon, ability to determine deductibles, co-pays, etc.
is a plus.
Must be someone ambitious, a hard worker, and have the ability to complete newly assigned tasks.
Exemplary communication and troubleshooting.
Prior supervisory or management experience is a plus.
Bi-lingual ability with Spanish and English is a plus.
Background in phlebotomy and medical assisting.
Ability to work 8-5:
00 with appropriate ability to get to work on time is necessary.
A self-starter and a person with the ability to distinguish ways to make a process better is necessary.
