Knowledge of Eclinicalworks and medical assisting is a tremendous bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the chronic care management program, ensuring efficient and effective workflow via outbound calls and patient contact.
- Ability to handle multi-phone line system for in bound and outbound patient calls - Excellent EMR, computer, and excel skills - Ability to discuss patient medical needs and prescription refills - Utilize electronic health record systems such as EclinicalWorks to maintain accurate patient records and revise / create patient care plans - Collaborate with insurance providers to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement - Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ordering as needed - Ability to take vitals / room patients Requirements:
- Phlebotomy skills or ability to learn necessary - Ability to take patient vitals and room patients - Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures - Strong communication skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment - Proficient in the use of electronic health record systems, such as EclinicalWorks - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance - Typing of at least 55 words per minute and excellent computer skills a must including Excel, MS Office, and EMR Note:
